- In this letter, Rev. G.W. Gray writes to Rev. C.W. Baldwin to tell him that after visiting three conferences, he suggests the creation of a Fellowship Plan. Gray tells Baldwin that he has been very busy and has not found much time to get subscribers to the Courier. Gray ends his letter by inviting Baldwin to stop by his home in Evanston if he is ever in the area.
- In this letter, Rev. John Gutteridge writes to a Mr. Albert Smily in the hopes of getting an interview with him while in New York on behalf of American University. Gutteridge describes how he heard about his correspondents generosity from a Mr. Rathburn and politely asks to interview him at Lake Mohawk in the hopes of securing further donations.
- In this letter to W.L. Davidson, Rev. John Gutteridge recants his correspondence with a Mr. Morgan. Gutteridge reports that Morgan's response to his query concerning an interview was received similarly to Davidson's query. Gutteridge also briefly recalls trustee N.T. Arnold's death in addition to several checks he sent out.
- In this letter, John Gutteridge writes W.L. Davidson on his complicated trip to Springfield and Boston. His host's brother, he writes, was dangerously ill, and then he ran into the storm that raged on in New York. He gripes about the inclement weather and wishes Davidson and his wife experience better weather in Washington.
